Coffee Bay

This morning while having our coffee mark spotted a guy fishing of the rocks. When he caught a big one Mark grabbed his rod and took off! The guy got a nice Cobb but the weather was rough and mark got very wet standing on rocks in his baggies. The fisherman was kitted out for wet weather so he fished all morning.


Made a new friend today!

After that we went for a walk to the main beach. It was very nice over there and we stayed for ages collecting shells. The kids will do anything for a bit of money and while we were collecting a boy was sitting with his dog. Eventually he came up to us with a handful of shells but we didn't have any money on us to give him so he went away after that.

These sea urchins are very rare to find whole as they are so fragile. Mark found me 3!



We had a yummy breakfast then went to the little shop to draw money and get more ice. It's Sunday today so we weren't sure how long they would be open so it was good to get ice and firelighter. We didn't braai in the end as we didn't get any fish or crays. just had a camp dinner of pasta and pesto with tuna!

We went for a swim today too. The water wasn't too cold but it was cold outside so we didn't stay in for long. If it was hot out we would have swam longer.




These funny yellow slugs are everywhere! We have to be careful not to stand on them because they look like leaves!
