Hole in the wall

It rained off and on during the night and it was another freezing cold one. In the morning mark saw the fisherman catch a big fish on the rocks so he grabbed his rod and ran over there. This time, success! We got a nice Cobb! And the crayfish guys came by so we got 5 crays for $NZ15.

After that we went and collected more shells. Stoked with our loot today. Now just have to figure out what to do with them all!

It keeps raining off and on and after breakfast we head to the famous "Hole in the Wall". It was very beautiful but blowing a gale so we took some pictures and mark swam then we took shelter under a tree for a while before heading back to camp.

So far on this trip we have done 740km and we brought 4 drums of diesel with us. today we put in 2 drums (46L) so we have gone all this way on one tank of diesel. I LOVE our bakkie!! And we still could have done another 100km on that tank. Shame poor bakkie has driven some hard roads this trip. Dirt roads and pot holes, sometimes even dongas in the road. It's not a 4x4 but goes up some roads that should only be for 4x4s!

Getting the fire started. Shame for the swiss couple camping next to us - they got most of the smoke directed at them! Oops!

Cobb and Crayfish

Our new kitty helping mark with the fire. This cat got to eat all the leftover fish carcass.
